I don't usually pay too much attention to analyst moves but this time around I do find it noteworthy that Eddlestone hardly changed his eps guesstimates at all yet went all the way from SB to Hold, not even stopping at Buy along the way--and this from one of the 'biggest and most steadfast' bulls on the stock for some time, outlasting his joust with Kurlack awhile back. And now, down at 57ish, he goes all the way to Hold in one fell swoop with no material drop in guesstimates. In my view, this speaks volumes in and of itself. I have never traded in INTC but recently have started to track the chart. My sense is that it will close the gap at 49.75 finally and perhaps base at 48.50-50 area. my 2c

Paul: Concur with your sentiments re: Edlestones remarks. What speaks volumes? a qualitative remark after INTC says it won't effect EPS. These guys are probably trying to set up a buying opportunity for someone. I didn't use to think this way in the past but these guys are either incompetent or crooked there is no other way to rationalize their dumb assessments. JFD
