- Linux's 10 million users this wouldn't help MSFT's case

- as the WSJ pointed out so clearly about 3 months ago, this case is a sham & a farce to begin with b/c the Govt's definit of a monopoly is such a narrow one

- Clintonistas say MSFT has a monopoly in the Windows-Intel environment. So even though MSFT is a bit player in all these other areas - that doesn't matter. According to DOJ - only the fact that MSFT has 90% of this market - with Apple the other 10% - is relevant.

- Actually, WSJ goes on & explains that a lot of folks - including me - have their old pc's which continue to run on MS-DOS - now windows - but the Gov't doesn't count us

- "my view is the economy is going to slow... people will shiftt to tech & growth... they defer so much revenue... the valuations are nowhere as high as they should.. they generate so much cash... they're diversifying in to a lot of different areas.. tough to employ so much cash...

- also, this is Alger Fund's #1 holding the host said
