Booted back up to mention this. Neighbor down the road tootled his horn when he drove by today. He had a new top end Porsche convertible to show off. 5,000 sq ft ranch house with an inground pool, yard service, 'vettes, country club plus a $4,000 per month apartment in Chicago. He works for a major Brokerage. I guess he want's me to put my money there. I gotta feeling he bought all that stuff from the money he made off his clients rather than what he made for them.

I was driving down Lawrence with my Kmart 'coon wading pool in the back on the way home from the airshow when I saw that Constellation lined up on final at about 1500'. If I hadn't accepted my Palace Chase orders to transfer into Reserves in 1972, I would have been transferred to Udorn, Thailand to work comm maintenance on the EC-121s which were the spook listening Connies flying out of that base at the time. Flip of a coin life change. Saw the NASA C141A. Memories! My favorite bird! Crawled through every hole on that type many times over. Rode in the instructors seat a few times on the way back from Snowbird too. Hell of a trash hauler.
