Michael Dell, Barrons
"Still, when all is said and done, I don't think Microsoft is a good company; I think it's a great company, quite literally one of the best companies ever. If I were a gambling man ... I'd put my bet on Microsoft winning, probably with Windows NT. In this instance, that's where I think the future lies."

Tech ; I don't play the nuts per stock but I'm not above using one
of the funds ( when I more sure the move will go on up ).
---------------
This week should make things a little clearer, at least to me.
Shorter term I'm not good at calling which way the internuts
will go, and while they don't "push" the index like MSFT, what
I have noticed is net stocks sort of show the sentiment of traders
and being they mover faster can indicate ( at least short term )
what the broader market will do.

How long this type of signal will work I don't know, but
for the time being if you see the DOT or other nut index going
up fast you can count on the rest of the market to follow,
and the reverse is also true.

So even though I don't trade in them I do watch their direction
and speed for an indication on how much of a general buying
oe selling mood the market is in.
Jim
