No, no, no, too easy. Instead he's required to pray on his knees towards Makkah five times a day.

Would that bother you, truedog?

Re: definition

I would appreciate knowing which dictionary you used. It is in conflict with my Webster and I would like to find out why. I don't like to convey inaccurate material and was not intending to do so in my response to you. Except for item 1.a., the definitions indicate a human based concept but, the first one is most important to me. The reason is, I don't like to use the word religion.
I do not deny any part of these definitions. I hope I am more open minded than that. I do not consider myself, or my faith superior to anyone. It is what I choose to believe but, I also do not try to dictate or down play anyone elses beliefs because they are different than mine.

I actually like the smell of incense and, it is not only used by the Buddhists but, also by the Catholic denomination. I would object to something as bulky as a statue of any secular figure in a public school. We are not referring to a statue but, a relatively small list of don'ts. If using public money to put these up is an issue, I am sure there are many individuals that would be happy to pay for a few and hang them themselves. Even though I may disagree with someone, I do care that that person has the right to his/her opinion.
