>>Also they commented on how this service bears no resemblance to the milkman 30 years ago.<<
Michelle, I think that the Cnn piece was a repeat, because Duffy asked me if I saw it when I was over there last friday.
The "Thing" that I disliked the most about Homegrocery.com is they won't leave the groceries @ your home, if there isn't anyone there to receive them, even though it's put on your credit card before they actually make the delivery. I think It's about the beer & wine problem, because of potential under aged drinkers.
Re, the milkman. 30 years ago, I was delivering milk when I was in my prime. Sometimes I was asked to stay for a while, these kids today that are so busy, don't know what they're missing.;-))
Ps
My oldest daughter is taking me out for fathers day dinner tonight. I was hoping you'd also have wished me happy fathers day too, or do you only care for your cat?:-))

Homegrocer is very useful and I expect them to make, hey, maybe hundreds of thousands of dollars per year if not a million.

Of course, every supermarket of moderate size will soon have a web site and free delivery within a few hours if you live within 5 miles or so. Will Homegrocer be able to compete against that?

Yet another example of brick-and-mortar's natural advantage over pure-internet.
