Marc,

I go along with UltraBear and UltraOTC as good hedges in case of a bear! Afterall what if Bob calls a bear market and he happens to be wrong this time around!!
Seems the internets have been thru a bear of their own and may not suffer as much or even recover in a DOW bluechip bear market. Maybe it'll be a sector bear if it happens.
Seems Bob has been obsessed with the internets, he, I wouldn't say bashed, but pounded them down in his comments the last few weekends.
And now that they are showing some bounce back, he seemed to relentlessly put them down again this weekend, almost, IMO obsessively.
I agree they may be overvalued, but investors, IMO are looking at marketshare and who has a chance of achieving dominance there, for the future, which looks simply humungous for the internet as it continues to grow by leaps and bounds and predictably will continue for years, and the Companys that capture the marketshare and are dominant in the future are the ones that will be rakeing in the revenue, IMO, so Bob keeps putting internets down because he says they are infinately overvalued, but that is not what people are looking at now, they are trying to define the Companys that are going to be the dominant ones in the internet plays and that my friends is why I believe they are going up, up, up in stock price!! Maybe not straight up, corrections along the way will happen, but in the longterm and with the more promising Companys should be a bright future as the internet stocks
ride the seachange that is the world wide web!!

Marc: Nice post. I would only add that Brinker placed the odds at 50-50 for either of the two scenarios.
