That definition of shiny pebble must apply to my very small holding in WAVX. I agree that at this point in the company's life cycle it would be easy to get burned. But for the George Gilder fans that are curious here is some info: George Gilder is on this companys board of directors and their is an article that can be accessed at Waves corporate web site that he wrote. "A Telecosm of Limitless Bandwidth", dated March 11, 1999. This will give his reasoning as to why he thinks this company could be the big deal. Great about Wave Systems technology. web site wave.com.

Lindy...congratulations! Now I get it. I have been doing it all wrong.

I was lucky enough to buy 100 shares of INTC for $3,200 back in 1984. Instead of adding to my position, I sold parts off over time for diversity. If I had done nothing, the 100 shares would now be over $750,000. Yep, it was(is) a gorilla.

I diversified into other future industries such as biotech. There have been a few winners such as 10 baggers for AGPH and ICOS but most of the money has been dead funds or gone south.

Thank goodness I also have QCOM which I have no intention of parting with for many years. Now to pair back some of the other 30 stocks and 8 mutual funds so that I can better understand my investments.

Thanks again for sharing.

Good morning, Bill, or maybe not. The Globex Flash Report looks like a Christmas tree, with lots of red lights <g>. Maybe the street will let the wireless sector escape... not.
