Hm. I don't know. People used to eat plenty organic raw vegetables and fruits. And what was the life expectancy back then? Ever read of what simple diseases people died of without research?

I wonder if it's worth sitting in front of these cpts enriching our portfolios just to eat veggies and fruit. More of it sounds alright. gg.

Some of those vegetarian's look pretty sick. Just kidding.

Is it REALLY TRUE that vegetarians live FOREVER?

RE: <If everyone ate a diet of raw organic fruits and vegetables, these diseases would be eradicated. Scumbria>

I don't know about the eradicated part but after the government has spent umpteen billions of $$$ over the last 30 years to cure cancer the fact remains that a good low fat diet is the best way to lower your risk of cancer (and heart disease). And for people chowing down the standard American diet with massive overdose of animal fat and protein those billions that the government has spent don't do diddly to protect them. High fat diet is why cancer and heart disease are sky high in the US, not because the government hasn't spent enough on research.

Scumbria, OFF TOPIC, pass the beef.

UC Berkeley Anatomy/Nutrition 101 teaches that, not only is animal protein important for the human diet, but that different meats and fish provide different kinds of protein that provide their own unique benefit to us.

Part carnivore, part herbivore got us to where we are today, through millions of years of evolution. I don't think it's wise, for me anyway, to fool around with something that's worked that long.

And all us animal raisers and bean, rice, and corn farmers with chemical contaminated land would starve to death. We outnumber your greens gobblers about 100 to one. Why don't you guys go and die instead? For convenience sake.
