ColleenB. Do you have confirmation that the information you are using is factual and actually pertains to PABN? The subject is PABN and it appears you have not completed the homework assignment that you were given. PCModem has already told you that you can not get extra credit until you complete your assigned work.

"Many currently installed computer systems and software products are coded to accept only two digit entries in the date code field. These date code fields will need to accept four digit entries to distinguish 21st Century dates from the 20th [c]entury dates. As a result, many companies' software and computer systems may need to be upgraded or replaced in order to comply with such "Year 200" requirements. The Company's expectations regarding Year 2000 remediation efforts will evolve as it continues to analyze its systems. "

You missed a few [sic]s there. "companies'" should be "company's" and "Year 200" should be "Year 2000."

You really should be doing the homework assignment I gave you.

Instead are you doing the homework assignment given to you by someone else?

The Company

PanAmerican BanCorp ("PanAmerican") was organized in 1997 to take advantage of an opportunity in Belize. PanAmerican was approached by the representatives of the government of Belize with the prospect of bringing mortgage banking into that country. Over the next two years, investors were lined up to purchase mortgages from PanAmerican. PanAmerican opened the necessary companies in Belize to conform to
local rules and concurrently was introduced to the Interactive Video Phone. The Video Phone would allow us to use our existing mortgage infrastructure to process and close the loans in Belize. The Interactive Video Phone company had just made plans to acquire Purewater Sciences International, Inc. ("Purewater"). However, their plans changed and that left the door open for us.

PanAmerican acquired Purewater, a Bulletin Board, over the counter non-reporting shell company, and made arrangements to merge PanAmerican into it.

Purewater Sciences held several patents on water purification. Its products have been discontinued and may or may not be revamped, however, the possibilities are being investigated.

Since taking over Purewater, PanAmerican has acquired two more companies and started two others. PanAmerian is in the final stages of one more start up/merger with First States Financial.

PanAmerican, through its subsidiaries, will be introducing and marketing several new products designed to facilitate the business of the subsidiary.

ColleenB,The B must stand for bonehead. Go read Microsoft's,IBM's,Cisco etc... Y2K statement. Any business , with good council, will HAVE to put this in writing to protect themselves. Although I don't believe it will be a MAJOR issue, noone knows what will happen on Jan. 1. AOL has the same risks being on the internet as does EVERY online trader. Bottom line...You are an idiot and a "wannabe" basher. You need lesson's on bashing.Looking back on all of all the things you've said, you suck at it! Maybe you should go to jhild's bashing seminar.
