Yes We Like to Gamble Mon Jun 21 1999 According to a Gallup poll released Wednesday, nearly two-thirds of American adults approve of legal gambling. Many reasoned that people should have the right to choose what to do with their money and how to enjoy their free time. Almost half of those polled favored maintaining the current level of legal gambling, while 22% favored expansion, 16% wanted to roll it back, and only 13% supported a gambling ban. Clearly, the efforts of many American policymakers do not match the attitude of the American people when it comes to gaming. CNN has the full story.
