Flatsville: It's only 'a day late and a dollar short' if you expect that this consortium can prevent Y2K from happening. Look at what they are calling it "the High Tech Consortium (HTC) -- Year 2000 & Beyond". This is actually the first acknowledgement that I've seen from the high tech industry that cleaning up this mess is going to extend way past 01/01/00. The basis of Ed Yardeni's recession prediction is death by a thousand cuts. I'm looking at all of your stock shorting ideas, by the way. Christine
