Hopping, hopping, hopping, hopping...... the sector is hopping. Very glad to see Alza go to a weak company. Leaves leveraged business plans for those companies with momentum.

Abbott..... sort of like Ortho..... give them money, stand back, and listen for the flush. Good deal for both companies, but it won't create anything special, and Abbott itself will just be future fodder.

AZA?????? No wonder we don't understand one another. I don't see the target buying its' stock either. I thought I have been posting about the acquiring party, which in this case would be Abbot Labs , not AZA/Alza. Sorry, probably those damn comas, my spelling and sentence structure.

Do insiders and their friends of a target company sometimes buy ahead of news of a bid. Sure and they often get caught by the S.E.C. too. Just commenting. Realize you were not talking about insiders but the target company itself.
