Long at 1357 --- 2 contracts I was watching this time as I was preparing this post ..... ha ha ha How much fundamental knowledge of each commodity market do you need to trade them This is the way I do it .... and I don't speak for any others .... intra day -- maybe even two days ..... Nada FA needed, just good TA for positional trades .... three, four, five days , even up to a couple of weeks ... combo FA and TA needed holding .... FA is more important, but definitely use TA to follow the trend Most of mine are scalping trades ... cut and run ... By the time I (as a total outsider and a peewee in the trading market) find out any news ... it is old news and has already been priced in .. so I find that an hour old trade is too long a time to hold .... ggggg When I've traded some of the bushel commodities .... I'M the market at times .... I'm still chuckling to myself about that last phone call from Marilyn ... I'd told her that I'd deliver her lunch, due to some of her budgets being impacted from the school board meeting last night and time constraints are pressing. Then she calls and I think I have one more to prepare lunch for ... the new principal ... While I was in the kitchen increasing the amounts of foods ....I called back to see if she had any more coming who needed feeding, and discover she had said ---- "the superintendent, one of the assistant supers, and she, were <taking the new principal > out for lunch" .... heck, I guess my hearing is going too ....... gggggg Things look to be flat lined on the spoo for lunch time anyhow .... I'm going to hookup the laptop so I'll have an easy method to get my trades posted while we journey to South Texas tomorrow ... my trading will be curtailed somewhat until Monday of next week ...... ggggg Nemer
