Mark...you like these markets...but if one is just mainly long (as myself), it sure can be bizarre and surreal! I know there's a holy war going on, I just don't know who's fighting whom. Jill

Suggests to me there was a demand for the options on the buy side which pushed the volatility from approx 92 to over 100 during the last half of the day." Not really. Volatility goes up when a stock has a sudden fall. Traders are fearful of a big fall and grabbing for puts to hedge or to profit from further declines. It is a function of fear. MIKE
