Had a small problem arise on this end of the trading line just as I went short at 1362 ... squid ate one, then the machine started smoking ...... guess I wore it out .... gggg I had stuck together a machine to take to my daughter tomorrow and thought I'd break it in ..... I did .... I had (read that "we", as in the headofthehouseholdandme)decided I would come back from Austin on the weekend and pick up the grandkids in Dallas, who will then spend next week with me while Marilyn stays in S Tx. As their entire family continually is using the single machine in their house, I decided over the weekend to assemble a word processor type box(Pentium 133 with 32 meg RAM) because with the two kids having reports and my daughter being a teacher ... w/p is in fair demand in the household ... and to take it over tomorrow as we go through Dallas ..... And I used it for the trading earlier today ..... until ...... meltdown .... gggg All three of us children (the two of them and me) are going to build a 350 or 400mz machine while they're here and they will take it back home week after next .... but the slow ancient one I just built would (notice the past tense) have given them three machines and perhaps freed up some squabbling ..... Not now ..... ggggg smoked that dude .... so I pulled the MB and chip out and have been assembling another from the spare parts ... which are getting in low supply now .... This message is being typed on it, so it is working for the time being anyhow ...... Well, back to the trade .... I went short at 2 contracts at 1362 and covered at 1356 --- but didn't get either of them through to the thread ..... so I'm not going to count them ... my tally has me ..... 2 long 1356 out 1358.25 profit 4.5 points 2 long 1358 out 1357 loss 2 points 2 long 1358 out 1357 loss 2 points 4 short 1357 out 1355.5 profit 6 points 2 long 1357 out 1358.5 profit 3 2 long 1357 out 1362 profit 10 2long 1360 out 1361 profit 2 2 long 1362 out 1363 profit 2 18 points fee for 18 contracts 27.5 points profit 4 points loss total 5.5 points profit ...... golly gee, is that not the proper way to make the broker wealthy ...... ? ? ? Hope I didn't miss any, if so anyone feel free to correct me cause I'm still playing with this old/new little box... and this one IS little .... all I had left was an old P75 and I have it pumped up to 100 .... Nemer edit -- just saw Chip is cooking Swordfish and Brown Rice ... I'm preparing smoked MotherBoard and fried CPU ... with a side of scrunched videoboard ..... what sauce ya'll reckon will go good with that ? and in answer to one PM ... yeah, I had the thing overclocked ...... If they won't hold up ... let em burn ......ggggg
