harold -- I do agree that they need new leadership, but that leadership can't magically fix what's wrong at 3Com. There needs to be a drastic move (i.e. shed that dog NIC and modem deadweight business). Status quo is not in the shareholders' best interests.

Eric is an idiot and everyone who has ever followed this stock knows this to be true.His purchase and subsequent tanking on usrobotics proved him silly.Palm pilot and possible takeovers are this companies best hopes,Eric cannot admit to himself his folly.,I predict Erricsson will by 3com strip them of the laggards and incorporate palm pilot into their business.Eric will be parking cars soon.I wouldn't trust him with my car,but some idiot will.I am in for the palm pilot,the sacking of the buffoon,and the eventual takeover.I bought low and have a long horizon.I can tell you one thing I didn't buy this company based on the ceo-----i bet on an Eric before,but he went to Novell and I will bet on an Eric again-----but this time its Ericsson.Eric as ceo of Hwp---is that funny.That company has had its problems----they don't need that kind of nightmare.
