Sonny ---today in EMC was old fashion profit taking ---nothing to do with IBM . IBM and EMC had sign a pact a while back to allow their SAN ( storage area network ) to talk to each other . IBM finally announced their new format today. Until then each server would not talk to each other ---as a matter of fact EMC started working working on this compatibility issue last year . The sell-off today was that EMC was up to a P/E of 75 and some of the big boys took profits . Did not sell --will wait and see how the qtr works out BEST WISHES BILL
