When you think in terms of years, the picture changes entirely. That's why COMS is far, far less appealing than CSCO and LU.

Yes, 38% is a nice gain. I've been trying to find reasons to get back into COMS (no, I'm not a short). Can't seem to find anything to spur me, based on the last few quarters. COMS is held up to an unfair measuring stick, and that's why the stock won't perform like others in the industry.

My CSCO has split three times since I sold my COMS in late 96 (low 70s) and I've seen more than 400% gain. I always look at the networking players, since I know the market and am extremely bullish on it. I just can't see COMS doing much given some very significant issues (broken record: 35%+ business in NICS and modems).
