The Man,
Josef Svejk,
the painted corner,
a day of
si infamy,
fists,
tied behind his back,
he was
a good soldier,
a humble soldier,
the best soldier,
he fought the good fight,
i feel his pain....

That's a little overly harsh. Whilst I don't agree with Josef's self-exile, I do recognize that many people outside of his usual circle of acquaintances really enjoyed and benefitted from Josef's posts. The GNET thread is testimony to that, as well as others. It is more than just his loss—it is a loss for many other SI members.

He painted himself into a corner of his own making. ???

How was it of his own making? SI added the ads. Back when they were acquired Brad posted that there would be no ads on member posts. They have now reneged. Josef didn't break his word, SI did. How was that of his Josef's making?
