Lachesis,

Are you going to go short CPWR or wait for the bottom after the fall out to play the long side? The brokerage firm I deal with got bought out by another firm and I can finally short US stocks. Wow, talk about
clamping with one hand. It's good to feel whole again.

Don't know much about their other product lines, but I like their Nu-Mega products. I can't imagine programming without them.

I can't imagine people buying much new software or doing much maintenance work till after the Y2K period is over. I would gather most companies have frozen their systems by now, so your friend's comments make sense.

I went to a Windows 2000 seminar 2 weeks ago. Boy, this OS is turning into a complicated mess. I am glad I don't program DCOM
applications. I don't think I like the fact that the OS can replace OS files it does not like without telling you though. It looks like the push for IA-64 is on too. The are suggesting that all applications use uni-code and 64 bit data.
