Ex, It could go either way. My guess is they will be convertible into Abbott shares instead of Alza. I would not convert. I prefer selling to conversion unless the price is relatively poor. However, if you like Abbott, and I like the co. if not the stock price, the Lyon will give you a piece of them. There is some possibility that Abbott will force conversion, in which case, you do what you're forced to do.
