That's a hot issue but it will stall for a while at least,
but in time they will give in ;
I hate sales tax, as it is a flat tax and should never have
gotten started anyway.
But once they find a way to stick it to us it's never going to go away.
Sales tax also adds to a lot of corruption.
Before someone takes me to task about flat taxes thinking they are
really fair, ( they are simple but not fair at all)

The system builds an infrastructure and the more well to do have
the advantage of taking more out of the infrastructure, and using
it more to their advantage and should pay more in the way of tax.

Taxes were first all set up to be progressive as it helps limit
the power all getting in the hands of a very few people.
However the more powerful have always fought this tooth and
nail, and used every form of artifice to hood wink the public
into thinking a flat tax is fair.

The rich get richer , the poor poorer, and the poor help to
arrange it.
