Interesting article. Gives an idea of the costs for setting up an e-commerce site. ... the costs for setting up an absolute basic e-commerce site. The eMerge Alliance said yesterday it can create a fully functioning Internet storefront for retailers in about a week for a fee of $299... With all due respect, Wendy, there's a big difference between setting up a freshie stand and opening a Starbucks. While both are "fully functional", one has much greater appeal. I just don't see how this article accurately reflects the typical costs in setting up an e-commerce site. An absolute basic site - yes - but nothing more than that. Just my opinion Marty P.
