Lindybill,
My reading is based on TA and doesn't necessarily mean that CSCO will go on into infinity (though I would like that<g>), just that the people that bought CSCO at ~$122 earlier and were looking to get out are now out and that any selling pressure from those people is gone. Whereas, the chart for MSFT shows that there were quite a few buyers of MSFT at the old high of $94/$95 and those earlier buyers may add some selling pressure at those prices.

The TA that I use does not factor in any other factor but the stock movement/price so the DOJ issues would not be reflected directly on the chart (though indirectly in the stock price).

Although, I would consider $95 for CSCO a blue sky breakout at the current price.

Interesting, Jorj. Based on fundamentals, (except DOJ) I would go other way. maybe the DOJ is the reason for the resistance.
