Even if they are not retaining the rights and sell a sleeper hit i think the increase in cedibility will be valuable, considering that they hold the rights to two movies of the same type, like the ones from the 'i know what you did last summer' author.

It's like when an actor gets paid nothing for a movie, like Jim Carrey in 'Ace Ventura', but then is getting 5 million and then 20 million for his next flicks.

Actually, with a small movie company like this, if they start churning out hits, a major studio might buy them up or at least start a partnership.

Of course that would be way down the road for this one..IMHO

Just speculation of course.
