Edited: Well, that is a good question. . .I don't know but will look into it.

EDIT: CMGI owns the majority of AdSmart. Could they want AltaVista partially to steal away biz from DCLK? Maybe. The question would be when does the DCLK contract expire? That would take some investigation to figure out.

If CMGI were to do this. . . that would give them a shark appearance. . . "watch out for CMGI. . .when they buy you they flush out competition and plug in all their own companies" . . . .yeah. . .sounds about right.

Now how does this affect DCLK? We would need to know the percentage of revs based on AltaVista deal. . .should be in Edgars of DCLK.

OT> Reminiscing when Softbank Interactive held the advertising of AltaVista, then sold to NETZ [now ZULU]. . .they were the most promising ad agency on the net at the time. . . . oh well. . .I guess I made about 8 times my dough on NETZ back then in the penny days.

Yes, this deal is a legitimate consideration. . .regarding DCLK. . .and that better explains the sell-off than some analyst's downgrade.
