"The company expects to produce more than 6 million AMD-K6 family processors of which more than 50 percent will be devices with clock speeds of 400, 450, 475, and 500 megahertz."

That came from one of the press releases today.

More than 50% above 400 isn't exactly enticing.

I think the K7 announcement is a smokescreen to try and take the edge off the incredible disaster that is unfolding. No announced customers.

Did anyone see any benchmarks?
