Dell must be using the Carmel chipset, since Camino only supports one Rambus Channel. Carmel was originally scheduled to come out later than Camino, but I think they are now synchronized.

So I was slightly wrong in my prediction in

Great news anyway. That should give the FUDsters something to chew on. It should particularly dispose of the 'No significant performance gain' argument. with 2 Rambus channels, and 3.2Gb/sec, this will be blinding, and once again put the processor as the limiting component.
