Truedog, First of all. I know who make the laws.. also I know who try the hardest to obey the laws.. It is the good hard-working people that the aristrocrats preach to, while they themselves, in many cases do not practice what they preach.. Why don't they set a good example? I imagine we will be hearing a lot about law-abiding and family values in the coming campaign.. Evidently, around Jeb's dinner table, there was not much talk of the above to set a good example for their children. Or if there was talk, it was empty words. What galls me about this incident, is that people at this economic level, DO NOT have to try to smuggle 19K worth of frivolous goods in. If they won't pay the duty.. Don't buy it then. IT IS NOT A DEMO or REPUBLICAN thing with me.. Sheesh... I'm a independent.. Social liberal/fiscal conservative.. I supported Clinton in the impeachment, because B.J.s are not impeachable. But I would support impeachment of Clinton for his undeclared and brutal war in the Balkans.. I hated when it when Tom Foley, Demo, and Uncle Al Defonso (sp) Repub. got rich IPO's to curry political favor, I suppose.. Something I know about because I trade for a living.. It seems so shallow to me, to make things like this a Democrat or Republican issue. Knee jerk reactions.. Like demo wars and repub wars.. It's not a problem with our political system. It's a problem with our average citizen.. Not making independent decisions based on the issue and not the party.. BTW for the politically naive.. Neil or Neal is the younger brother of Jeb and George, the Denver tycoon wannabe, that was involved in some questionable deals in the 80's. Coug
