Why is it so remarkable? It is called politics.....You give me something (FYROMacedonia recognizing Taiwan, Taiwan pays "aid" to Kosovo(so these refugees can get the hell out of FYROMacedonia) along with some "direct" aid to Swiss bank accounts of the top leaders in FYROM.

We send some money to Albania as I know. Back to 60 to 70's, When Enver Hoxha was the leader of Albania, we sent out tons of aid to them and praise them as a "the only light of darkness Europe".(That is absurd and make me laughing.) Most of those aids need not to be payback. We do import some of their cigarette. Albania cigaret was everywhere in chinese market at one time. I, actually, saw a few imported Albania films when I was a kid. After the Mao's culture revolution was over in 1976, we arrested the "gang of four" who advocated the Marxist-Lennist and Stalinst extreme left wing thougts. The Albanian was not happy of what they saw and blamed us betraying the othodox Marxism. We no longer be a brother since then.
