Our winners...These stocks have been called by members of our thread and/or Market Gems Stock Selection Site for Traders in the last week. They were not just stocks in long lists but buys were called, threaders were calling them and positions were held over. If we were to include 'long lists' and watch lists that are 3-4 days old than the number increases perceptively. Others called but didn't track the weekly gains were GSTRF, MCOM, PLXT, AUDC, CNCX,SDLI, GMST.

CNCX 10.22% in one day (today's list)
EXTR 7.5% gain in one day (yesterday's watch list)
JWEB 67% gain in one week.
MSPG 25% gain in one week (watch list)
ELNK 49% gain in one week
VIGN 37.86% gain in one week (watch List)
BTOB 39% gain in one week (watch list)
GBIX 35% gain in one week
PHCM 60% gain in one week (watch list)
ABOV 36% gain in one week
BYND 54% gain in one week (watch list)
CUST 38% gain in 4 days (watch list)
GNET 30% gain in one week (watch for thread)
TRAC 40% gain in 2 days
FNCM 20% gain in one day
MAIL 87% gain in one week.

of course we did not get the entire week but about 2-3 days of these gains. This is attributable to the interaction and team effort of this thread. I'm sure I must have missed one or two.

Personally, I am less offended by this profile than I am by people hyping a $1 1/2 penny stock with predictions of $15 by the end of next week. That profile will cost naive investors far less money than a pump-and-dumper will. Also, on my 'offensive list' are all the repetitive commercial link-postings to someone's idea of a newsletter on the web. Either they are selling subscriptions or benefiting from advertising 'hits'. Finally on my list are all these postings to get-rich-quick- schemes like 'AllAdvantage' where the poster puts a referral number in his link. Even when one of these dies out, another surely will take its place.

Fortunately, these practices are far less prevalent here than they are on Yahoo. As long as SI can stand above Yahoo, it is by definition an 'improved' product.

I looked at this profile, and found nothing that offended me, nor that I would not let my 12-year-old daughter see.
