How are you Jing?
Saw that this article has been out since 5:40 PM PT., and nobody has discussed it, sounds like bad news for ATHM, good news for AOL. Have been out of both for about a month. Anyway, this is the second major city to thumb their nose at the FCC, concerning open access.

A committee from the city's Board of Supervisors today declined to adopt a resolution recommending the city transfer cable franchise licenses from Tele-Communications Incorporated to AT&T following the firms' merger. Instead, the committee called for a closed-door meeting on open access next month.

AOL is different kind of provider it has a charisma of its own. AOL could by introducing speed knock the heck out of many because of their built in subscription base. This is their advantage..
