Bigaltex, you have to type the entire URL starting with the http, like this:Message 10251280 if you start with "www" it will not be recognized as a link. Try it. Now, go to the company's web site:panambancorp.com and you will see a link explaining the change in the company's symbol. The pricing information you saw is for the other company that used to have the symbol 'PABN.' PABN became the company's symbol March 9, 1999. The old symbol, PRWT, was no longer used after April 9, 1999. Some people think that PABN controls the NASD and manipulated the NASD to get the symbol "PABN" assigned to the company so people would be confused, and think our little company is that big bank (silly, I know, but the same group thinks the mob is involved in a conspiracy with the SEC and NASD and PABN against investors -- go figure). That simply is not true (that is, neither of those strange concepts are true). The NASD is independent of PABN and has been for quite some time, and as far as I know intends to remain independent of PABN. (I don't think a merger would be appropriate.) For historical price information on this company, check out the symbol PRWT which was its symbol before March 9, 1999. I strongly suggest you do some research. Making money in the stock market by 'lucking out,' is the exception rather than the rule. Go to the above link and read everything on that site. Then read everything on the linked sites (other businesses of the Company). It should take you a couple of days to work through all of it. Then you can make an informed decision on whether or not to invest in this company. hope this helps PCM GO PABN!!!
