I don't know what it means today in the military but twenty five or thirty years ago FDG = -------- dead guy. Military humor.
I was never for sending our troops to Kosovo but once they are deployed, I always support them 100%, cheer them on. I know what it is like to be in situations where you can easily get killed serving your country and to have many of your peers and "countrymen" to not support you. To even have some hate you for your service to your country.
I rarely agree with anything Clinton has done around the world but I always support our boys. It makes a difference to the troops knowing people at home are supporting you. I believe it would of made a difference in Vietnam. Perhaps that is the lesson of Vietnam, that and to let the military run a war, not congress, not the President and mostly, not the media. 909S BLUE
