Whatever one's opinion of INTC's market position(monopoly or not) there is one thing you can be assured of and that is that the gov't(DOJ, FTC) will NOT do anything that harms the company's competitive position, in the long run. This is one of the major exporting enterprises in the U.S. and one of the major technological trend makers in the world that supports US company's competitive dominance in high tech. There may be alot of blah, blah, but, nobody is going to damage INTC in a big way when the U.S. only major exporting industries are computer related...
