DaveMG: Is it clear that spectrum for WCDMA will not be available in the US? I thought that the US Gov't was still cool to the idea, but hadn't slammed the door.

Also Bell South is a major player overseas. Signed a major contract in Argentina recently for example.

So if no WCDMA here, maybe Bell South will use in the rest of the world - but maybe not.

If in fact, no WCDMA frequencies available in the US in the future, what will AT&T, Bell South et al do re 3rd gen here?

Most curious.

Best personal regards,

Chaz
