AMD simply cannot afford to incur such enormous losses at a time it needs to invest research and development funds to push its technology ahead, said Keith Diefendorff, editor-in-chief of Microprocessor Report. Is there any doubt that this was why Intel has so vigorously cut prices? Not only have they ruined the K-6, but they have wounded the K-7. Damn they're good. Tony, ..... I forget, which way does the spiral go in the northern hemisphere, clockwise or counter-clockwise? I get counter-clockwise. I went and flushed the toilet with a piece of paper marked AMD. Hope we are all in agreement that it's counter-clockwise in the northern hemisphere, humble carl
