<<I'll agree there are alot of day traders who subscribe to your ideas, but still think even speculators are allocating their capital based on some notion of what a particular market will look like and how their company with its particular technologies and business model will fit in.>> Stephen I agree that it would make sense that most persons would think before they would risk their hard earned cash, but lets look at some facts. First of all keep in mind that the market has been such a bull over the past few years that many think that all they need to do is invest in order to make money. I can remember yesteryear, a time when investors were those people whom lived the market. They would have a subscription to Wall Street journal or something similar. They would watch business news when it came on, and when the Sunday paper came, they would go straight for the business section. They could read a balance sheet! They knew what was happening both locally and internationally when it came to the economic system and alike. They could probably spew off the ticker symbol to any DOW stock you threw out at them and tell you were it was trading, projections, etc. Most of them were financially well off and well educated. Now lets blast ahead into the present... I myself can name off close to 40 persons who have between 5k -20k invested in this market. These people are just local workers in my area. They do not subscribe to any investment letters, groups, papers. They couldn't name one stock in the DJIA. They are not thinking of the market come 5:00pm they are thinking about where they are headed for the weekend. The don't know who Alan Greenspan is, but they could tell you who Jar Jar Binks was. If you put a balance sheet in front of them, it would look like it was written in another language. It is not because they are unintelligent, it is because they are ignorant to the investing world. They are involving themselves in something that they know nothing about. Think about it for one moment. I said I can name @ least 40 persons with 5k - 20k invested. That is 400K of clueless money just poured out there. These are just ones in my small circle. Times that by 50,000,000 small circles across the country. It adds up quickly! <<I still have to work because I didn't buy the Dot.coms of last year.>> I personally know of a person that doesn't have to work anymore because he did buy the dot.coms, and this person has no clue what he is doing! Point proven...... Ron Dior
