Hi t2K - I missed all you good folks of the MSFT thread!

Re: MSFT. One caveat: the one thing that is going to be more determinative now, is the interest rate/bond market nonsense going on. So, it is possible that if they manage to spook the retail investors, we may see a further selloff in the market, which would include MSFT, of course.

This whole thing is a bit of a scam, IMO - who seriously is going to sell MSFT because the bonds are now paying 6.15 rather than 5.85?!!

The institutions have muffed it with the silly move to cyclicals (and the head of Alcoa saying he sees no improvement in alum. prices, serves them right). Now the institutions need to get back into the techs which they sold (and by selling drove down the price). So, what best to do, but spook the individual investor and make him give up his MSFT shares cheaply? What a game.

Morgan

Tech2000: Could you tell me when the trial verdict is expected to be announced ? Before or after the earnings are coming out ? Also did I understand it correctly that today is the last day of the actual trial and then there is nothing more going to happen before the verdict comes out ? Thanks

t2k, I hope your filling your Call Option orders before this final hour gets into full swing. MSFT may very well start surprising people with its strength.
