We're not going to learn how to short if nobody posts because they're afraid of the thread's reaction. That was not the point Lola. The threads reaction is important....two months ago people would have got into arguments...in fact it happened. Arguing the merits of a long or short position is irrelevant to realtime trading. Every thread member floats among the other threads "blasting the longs if they are short" of "blasting the shorts if they are long". This is what happens in SI.....UNFORTUNATELY!! People can see that in this market a "long" approach can be boreing and can now see the merits of shorting But I decided I would not post short positions until I was sure the thread had matured to a point where there would not be an attack on the position or on a personality...... We are getting close! the Chief

Were people not shorting or were they just not saying? I am surprised! I can understand not saying something on the long threads, people get real freaked out, but this is a daytrading thread and shorting is the other half of the coin, gotta get good at. Could we have a show of hands( keyboard clicks), how many of you were not saying anything? the more open we get the better debate and reasoning will be the outcome . I started my shorting career here for you all to see, hoping to get some feed back from the more experienced. Still taking my lumps . Best Regards to you all WB
