I see... you have some good points. I'm really intrigued by people who can short successfully because it's (in my opinion) a much more difficult thing to grasp. But if you are in a full blown bear market, you can't make a whole lot of money just going long.

Even if you never intend to short stocks, it's good to know what a short seller goes through so you can make more intelligent decisions when going long on a stock as well.

But I do understand the conflicts that would exist if the group was divided and allowed their emotions to control their trading. Just look at some of the American stock threads... you'd think we were in World War III!

If we can master the art of short selling then we can greatly increase our winning trades since we would not be limited to trading when the market is up or when the stock has upward momentum only.

If this thread can come to a point where we can discuss short and long trades without having a fight about it, it will probably be the first one on SI!

Lola:)

Chief!

But I decided I would not post short positions until I was sure
the thread had matured to a point where there would not be an attack
on the position or on a personality...... We are getting close!

Well then...would you welcome me on your thread?
I promise, no cyber-beer wars. <gggggggggggggggg!!!>

Cheers!
