You should read what they are saying on the MSFT thread.

Actually, being a stockholder of both companies, I believe that this trial is more about the competition wanting help than proving harm to the consumers.

Even the DOJ paid economist's witness said that MSFT could or might possible harm the consumer in the future. I think he even stated reluctantly, that prices of software to the consumer are falling because of MSFT.

There is a great deal we could get into but my opinion is this trial is about helping the competition and has nothing to do with the consumer.

Anti-trust is about proving harm to the consumer not helping the competition.

It should be interesting to see what the appeals court ruling will be!
