PB, Re: Yes, it slipped from its original release date

I thought it slipped twice. I remembered it was initially
set around the June time frame(?) but pushed back citing RDRAM
availability as the cause ?

>I'm hoping for a great recovery
Intel better do it. BTW, to hold Moore's Law, shouldn't we
see 800Mhz parts from Intel by year end as there was(?) 400Mhz
parts back in 2Q98 ?

PB - Re: "It will just remind everyone that CuTheGreatmine is on time!>Yes, it slipped from its original release date. This is a fact now. No use hiding from it."

Intel REALLY BLEW THIS ONE !

All Intel had to do was announce that Initial Coppermine shipments had begun to customers - and that Coppermine PCs would appear at retail in the November time frame.

This camouflage is swallowed hook, line and Sinker by the AMDdroids when Sanders used the same "finesse" in announcing the AthLate launch !
