Western Logic Technologies Inc WLT VSE Add to Portfolio June 28, 1999 Texalta Western Logic West Queensdale Well has Reached Mississippian Lev CALGARY, ALBERTA--Western Logic Resources Inc. ("Western Logic") (VSE-"WLT") announces that the West Queensdale 9-26 well was spudded at 2100 hours on June 23, 1999. Surface casing was set at 302 meters and the well, currently drilling at 1290 meters, has drilled through the Mississippian formation. The target of this Western Logic operated well is the Ordovician Red River Sand and Winnipeg Sand. The test well, located on an ancient faulted structure, will also test several other target zones of Lower Paleozoic age including the Birdbear, Duperow, Interlake and Deadwood Sand. Of all of the above oil zones, the Winnipeg Sand is proving to be the most prolific producer as several recent tests in the surrounding area have been recorded in excess of 1000 barrels per day flowing. This well is prognosed to drill to a depth of 2420 meters. Western Logic will have a 10 percent revenue interest in the oil production, prior to pay out, reverting to a 51 percent after pay out interest in the Drill Spacing Unit. Western Logic Technologies Inc WLT VSE Add to Portfolio June 30, 1999 Drilling Ahead WESTERN LOGIC RESOURCES INC ("WLT-V;WLGRF-L") - Drilling Ahead Western Logic Resources Inc. ("Western Logic") is pleased to announce that its current well, Texalta Western Logic Queensdale 9-26T-6-2W2M, is drilling ahead at 1534 meters. The Devonian Birdbear formation was encountered at 1496 meters. The well site geologist reports that the Birdbear samples had "good integranular moldic porosity, good intercrystaline matrix porosity" with "variable amounts of sucrosic dolomite" and "medium brown oil stains". The gas chromatograph recorded a mud gas kick over the prospective 12 meter interval. An offset well, the 5-27-7-6W2M well, has produced in excess of 607,000 barrels of oil from the Birdbear formation. The well is being drilled with an oil based mud system, designed to decrease formation damage while drilling. The well is currently prognosed to reach a total depth of 2500 meters after evaluating the Winnipegosis, Red River and Winnipeg Sand formations. TEL: (403) 290-1950 John N.
