doug, it can be done either way. check the specs on the cards that you are using. they will tell you which methods are possible with the particular card

Doug, I was given ATI cards that are of the higher quality. I believe PCI...I'll check in the box? Nemer knows BTW if so inclined...Win98 will take up to 9 monitors Lets see....How do you take the cover off this machine?

Doug ...I'm messing with this problem right now. I can tell you Win98 DOES NOT like a Lucent Win Modems when you do the Win98 upgrade...or the older Kingston PCI EthRx cards either... I hear Matrox has a new dual monitor card out....for like 250....others I have seen are 500 - 1500. --- Got buys this AM on SPX and BKX....some to the tech side will buy in 12 min...already cheating some.
