The "choice" they have is guilt or innocence based upon the evidence.
I'm all in favor of juries, don't misunderstand me. The problem is with "rogue" juries that do not follow the law or ignore evidence and do their best to make a political statement. The reason this happens is because of the jury selection process, attorneys use this farce to manipulate the outcome of trial. OJ Simpson is the most glaring, egregious example of it. It should be totally random with a basic intelligence test requirement.
