I can almost guarantee you're speaking too soon. I don't trust the market behavior of this stock worth a damn anymore. From what I can tell, there are outside influences controlling the price. Whether it's off-shore shorting, dilution, whatever.

If it is you boys north of the border, have a few Labatt's for me this afternoon…and make sure they're green labels…

What's worst about all the crap being kicked around right now is mention of the word “floorless”…Cheese & Crackers!! Now I gotta waste more time trying to figger out if any of the damn equity placements were, in fact, open ended, dollar denominated…

I dropped a rather blunt EM to Joe, via Nancy this afternoon. Basically asking his opinion on the efforts to vote him out, why he should stay, why I can't seem to find a point of contact (PoC) in Mitsubishi, what prompted the equity placements, vice bank financing, ad infinitum.

Nancy was nice enough when I spoke to her last week, but, as always, when you start to dig, it draws questions to much of what is being said.

I spoke to Illinois Power last week in an effort to determine their relationship to SGI. Well the relationship with SGI does exist, along with a lengthy history on green coal. LFc Plant startup depends on securing additional financing to open it and completed some process modifications. However, Illinova felt that their recent agreement w/SGI should help them in that regard. I'm missing my notes from the conversation, but it was fairly positive. Towards the end we also discussed some of the price behavior, and the recent turmoil regarding “Vote No for Joe”…

…which is why I started getting calls from everyone, I suppose. I made it plain to Nancy that I in no way intended to draw fire to SGI from Illinova. A silly accusation anyway, as Illinova would and should be privy to the truth of what's happening. I also don't think it could damage their relationship, as the technology is independant of who champions it.

Kinda disjointed thoughts here, but should anyone be interested, maybe I'll try to clarify...

Still think you're speaking too soon, as there isn't a whole lotta money going through...however, the volume is still decidely bullish. Yesterday, moreso than any day the last few weeks...

BorB...34,200
Split...10,000
AorA...259,700

The move up in price was certainly justified. I still believe there to be some shenanigans going on behind the scenes, but my paranoia will find no solace in proof. Nor is my time worth uncovering it.

From a strictly technical/trading perspective, it would appear that the overhead may be giving way to the buying. There is also less selling. With the price starting to nudge up, I'll be watching to see if interest by traders can get this current dog back on its feet.
