GV..Yes but there is still 20% or so of this issue shorted and I see no reason to start covering until the gap is filled in the lower 70s.

Nice summary, which I happen to agree with. It started with Eddlestone and some curious call options which were purchased. In any event you don't need to explain to me as I'm trading in and out short and while I feel better at the moment, this stock is just too hard on the nerves the way the MMs snap it up and down like a pink sheeter. Which it actually more closely resembles than a NASDAQ issue.

My take on today's action is that we also may be seeing some institutional shorts trying to take advantage of the reported short figures...by increasing their positions.

GVTucker, why is a short squeeze a major event? Don't the SOES bandits do this on occasion? At least they reportedly did. And why would anyone want to actually go short a stock this thin? Seems like you're inviting trouble if you do no matter how bad a company is.
