Hopefully we'll start seeing all that reflected in Q2 earnings over the next month that will power the semis higher still. e.g. if Lehman has LSI target of $66 on '00 earnings of $1.83 'because it should return to some kind of historical PE ratios', that target will be raised if '00 earnings if raised to $2.50.

Now if the Feds will help out a little ....

E, what do you think of ADI - last Friday down a bunch on small volume. Good chance for a turn for earning next week?

There are a lot of discussions about AMKR stock performance in the Yahoo AMKR board. Some posts blame the CEO for AMKR's poor performance because he never showed up to talk to the Wall Street and investors.

In my opinion, when the stock is doing well, the CEO can surely take credit and he/she doesn't need to talk loud. However, when business environment and situation for the industry and for the company itself are good, but the stock is doing so poor, there must be something wrong. In my opinion, there are trust problems with the company management. Apparently, Wall Street has some doubts about the company and its relation with Anam. To make thing worse, Kim's family owns too much of Amkor and Anam.

At this time, if the management, particularly CEO, can speak up and open the door and show people, then say "Look! We have nothing to hide!" This certainly will help the company stock, and its business as well.
